The Sandy Tuttle Endowed Campership Fund
Help us send at least one camper to Camp Fairlee every year
Your donation provides life-changing camp experiences for children and adults with disabilities through a scholarship honoring an extraordinary woman who dedicated her life to serving others. Sandy Tuttle began her journey with Easterseals at just 15 years old as a volunteer at Camp Fairlee. She went on to serve for 49 remarkable years, including 30 years as President and CEO.
Under Sandy's visionary leadership, Easterseals grew from a small organization with a handful of employees to serving thousands of people with disabilities and their families annually. But Sandy never lost sight of where it all began - with a teenage girl's compassion and the transformative power of Camp Fairlee.
Sandy's deep commitment to individuals with disabilities is demonstrated through her lifelong friendship with Vandella Dorsey, who she met at camp in the early 1970s. Their enduring bond shows how Camp Fairlee creates connections that last a lifetime and reflects Sandy's belief that people with disabilities should be valued for their abilities, not defined by their challenges.
Every donation to this fund ensures that at least one camper can experience the magic of Camp Fairlee each year, continuing Sandy's legacy of compassion and service.
